The purpose of the Provider Relations Representative position is to act as a liaison between the medical provider community and WSI, investigating and resolving provider-related issues.The Provider Relations Representative creates value and makes an impact with these job duties:Compose and publish education-related materials regarding policies and procedures for medical services, utilization review, and bill auditPerform training, orientation, and coaching to medical practices for performance improvement as well as to agency staffProvide recommendations for the development of billing and coding requirements; fee schedules and guidelines; and website contentPerform analysis and research to develop solutions to provider-related quality improvement projectsServe as the central contact point for provider database informationProvider Issue Resolution and Solution Development

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in communications, business, healthcare, health administration, or related field and two years of work experience related to healthcare administration working with medical providers.Additional working experience may be substituted for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

The Account and Budget Specialist in our Driver License and Motor Vehicle Division will have shared responsibility to oversee accounting and internal auditing functions in accordance with approved policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple requests at one time. Experience with various computer hardware and software including web-based applications. Excellent communication and creative problem-solving skills, experience conducting internal audits, preparing Excel worksheets and fiscal statistics, reconciling general ledgers to various financial reports and accounts is essential.To be considered for this position, you must have one year of professional accounting experience and a bachelor's degree with an accounting concentration. The Water Resource Manager will report to the Southwest Pipeline Project Manager and is a member of the Southwest Pipeline Project Section of the Water Development Division.The Water Resource Manager is responsible for representing the department in the field and overseeing the field work of a state-owned regional water system in North Dakota - the Southwest Pipeline Project (SWPP). This includes working with contractors, engineering consultants, landowners and governmental entities as well as responding to issues that arise during construction. The SWPP covers regions within 12 counties south and west of the Missouri River and serves over 56,000 people, including 33 communities. The SWPP has been under construction since 1986. Types of SWPP projects include the construction of pipeline projects and construction of major drinking water facilities such as a water treatment plant, reservoirs, and pump stations. Regular travel to work sites is expected during construction season and anytime that a construction project is active.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires five (5) years of construction experience, or three (3) years of construction experience and an Associate's degree in a related field, or one (1) year of construction experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field.Must possess clear and effective oral and written communication skills. Valid ND Drivers License and ability to travel in a company furnished vehicle to construction sites.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a construction related field.Construction experience to include drinking water projects. Experience with acquiring property or easements to facilitate construction projects. Experience with estimating damages due to construction and discussing with property owners. Strong interpersonal and verbal skills.

Minimum Qualifications

A Master of Science in the field of water resource management, hydrology, geology, engineering, or related field with two years of applicable experience, or a Bachelor of Science degree in the field of water resource management, hydrology, geology, engineering or related field with at least five years of applicable experience.Demonstrated knowledge and experience with hydrogeology, hydrology, or water resource management.Demonstrated knowledge or experience working with Prior Appropriation Doctrine.Demonstrated knowledge or experience drafting policies or standard operating procedures, and technical report writing. This position further requires skill in the use of standard office software applications (i.e., word, excel, etc.), and the ability to learn and use bridge inspection software and photo editing software.Travel will be expected a minimum of 8 months out of the year (April 1 through November 31) throughout the state of North Dakota. The remainder of the year will be spent in the office or performing ancillary inspections (High Mast Lighting, Overhead Sign Structures).This position will assist the senior bridge inspector in the following duties:Structural Inspection:Perform routine field inspection, NSTM inspection, and/or special inspection of existing, recently constructed, and damaged state-owned bridges and other related structures. Perform channel cross sections.Prepare for inspections by reviewing structure files, identifying structure components and elements.Ensure inspections accurately and completely reflect the structural and functional conditions of the structure, are thorough, timely, and completed in accordance with NDDOT policies, procedures and the FHWA National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS).Enter field inspection data into tablet.Prepare detailed structure inspection reports with photos in accordance with the NBIS.Use non-destructive testing (NDT) methods and survey equipment to assess damage as required.Record various measurements and take photographs for use in load ratings or developing repair strategies.Utilize unmanned aerial and surface vehicles to supplement inspections where appropriate.Attend refresher training to ensure compliance with state and Federal inspection requirements.Make recommendations for maintenance activities for structures.Structural ManagementResponsible for importing, exporting, verification, and updating of inspection data for state owned bridges and ancillary structures (High Mast Lighting, Overhead Sign Structures).File reports and photos.Quality Control/Quality Assurance: Perform on-site inspections and Quality Control of inspection data. Review and validate inspection information from other inspection teams to ensure quality assurance.

As an Equipment Operator, you will perform highway, roadway, and structure maintenance. This includes operating heavy equipment to perform required maintenance duties like basic snow and ice control/removal. You will complete highway maintenance duties, which include assisting in installing, repairing, and maintaining highway signs and guardrails. To complete these tasks and others assigned, you will operate power tools and other equipment to perform maintenance duties. Part of this job is to keep the roadways clear of any hazards, this includes litter, waste, debris, garbage, and carcasses. You will complete building and ground maintenance duties, and general routine maintenance of the roadway and radio system equipment. You will also perform minor preventive and repair maintenance on vehicles and equipment. Maintain necessary paperwork, including time records, activity reporting, daily diary, road reports, etc. You will receive training and perform construction project duties under close supervision. An important part of this position and the culture at the NDDOT is to maintain a safe working environment for yourself, your coworkers, and others.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered as an Equipment Operator II, you must have a valid North Dakota Class A driver license without air brake restrictions and a cargo tank endorsement (N) by the first day of work. In addition, two years of relevant experience or one year of experience and one season of winter operations similar to NDDOT.To be considered as an Equipment Operator I, you must have a valid North Dakota Class B driver license without air brake restrictions.This position requires reporting to work within 30 minutes, after hours, on weekends, and on holidays during emergency events.Employment of the selected candidate will be contingent on satisfactorily completing the interview process and the required drug test, medical screening, reference check, driver record check and federal clearinghouse query screening.
