Career Description




As a Psychologist at a Human Service Center, you will provide a broad array of services, involving complex cases requiring advanced expertise. You will provide psychological assessments, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and court testimony. You will also participate in consultation and training with individuals, families, agency staff, and, at times, community partners. If interested, you may also have the opportunity to supervise students. To thrive in this position, you should be comfortable with completing all components of psychological assessment and serving as an expert examiner. Previous experience providing consultation and training is beneficial to this position.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a Doctorate in Psychology and licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Psychologist by the ND Board of Psychologist Examiners, according to North Dakota Century Code Chapter 43-32. Graduation from an APA or CPA accredited program is a necessary prerequisite for psychologist licensure in ND.If unable to find fully-licensed candidates, will consider filling the position as a Psychology Resident which requires a Doctorate degree in Psychology and eligibility for a supervised psychological residency as determined by the ND Board of Psychologist Examiners.
