The purpose of the Provider Relations Representative position is to act as a liaison between the medical provider community and WSI, investigating and resolving provider-related issues.The Provider Relations Representative creates value and makes an impact with these job duties:Compose and publish education-related materials regarding policies and procedures for medical services, utilization review, and bill auditPerform training, orientation, and coaching to medical practices for performance improvement as well as to agency staffProvide recommendations for the development of billing and coding requirements; fee schedules and guidelines; and website contentPerform analysis and research to develop solutions to provider-related quality improvement projectsServe as the central contact point for provider database informationProvider Issue Resolution and Solution Development

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in communications, business, healthcare, health administration, or related field and two years of work experience related to healthcare administration working with medical providers.Additional working experience may be substituted for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to present and facilitate meetings with physicians, practitioners, and medical staff in a clear and organized mannerStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to think and plan on a strategic and conceptual levelMust be able to contribute to a team environment, while at times being able to work independently with little supervisionUnderstanding fee schedule methodologies, CPT coding, or Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes beneficialMust have a current driver's license and be able to travel, sometimes overnight

When workers get hurt on the job in North Dakota, they can submit a workers' compensation claim to cover medical bills and lost pay for missed work. As a Claims Adjuster, you will facilitate and coordinate an injured employee's workers' compensation claims. To do this, you will analyze workers' compensation claims, review documentation, and authorize payments. A Claims Adjuster is self-motivated with attention to detail, thriving in a fast pace changing work environment.The Claims Adjuster creates value and makes an impact with these job duties:Adjudicating injured worker claimsDetermining liability according to ND Century Code and ND Administrative CodeManaging medical and disability processes and benefits for injured worker claimsCoordinating the return-to-work processResponding to inquiries from injured workers, employers, medical providers, and other claim parties

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or GED and four years of work experience that provided knowledge of medical and insurance claims and/or terminology. College-level coursework in a business or healthcare field will substitute for the experience requirement on a year-for-year basis.
