We're seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as an Administrative Officer.In this role, you'll be at the forefront of assisting customers with inquiries regarding unemployment insurance claim statuses, program requirements, and procedures, while also guiding and educating on self-help tools and resources. Utilizing your keen investigative skills, you'll process unemployment insurance claims, conduct fact-finding to determine eligibility, and make decisions in accordance with policy, legal precedents, and state and federal law. You'll review reports on unemployment insurance activity, identify and correct errors, and follow up on issues as needed.If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can showcase your customer service expertise while assisting individuals during challenging times, then this is the perfect opportunity for you to make a difference and grow your career.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must have the following experience/education combination:a high school diploma or equivalent plusat least four years' experience performing claims processing, insurance, payroll, customer service management, administrative or related functions.Education may substitute for the work experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

Administrative Officers possess a diverse set of skills to effectively manage administrative tasks, support organizational operations, and foster a positive work environment. The preferred applicant will have prior administrative experience demonstrating strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft office software, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and other parties are essential. Experience applying and interpreting federal or state guidelines would also be beneficial in this role.
